How did you get into tattooing?

I’ve been fascinated by artistic processes since day one. My passion for art and its connection to history and narratives led me into this tattoo journey.

Are you from Portland? What do you love about the city?

I’m from Seattle. I love Portland’s art scene and the surrounding nature, such great balance! Picnics at the rose garden is where it’s at.

What is your preferred style of tattooing?

I’m drawn to neo-trad chicano, with so much inso from blackwork, black and grey and script.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give someone who’s thinking about getting their first tattoo?

Find an artist who’s work you love, consider placement, be flexible and patient, and enjoy the ride.

What’s your favorite food or dish?

Plant based! I love food and cooking, currently obsessed with mushrooms.
